Mercedes-Benz EC 145 - $7 million
Helicopters are already one of the most expensive forms of transportation on the planet but these take things to a whole new level. First up, we have the Eurocopter Mercedes-Benz EC 145, with seating up to 4 people, luxurious interior and will run you a cool $7 million.
Eurocopter EC 155 - $10 million
Setting you back only $10 million dollars. It tops out at 200 mph with a range of 533 miles. Normally seating as many as 13 passengers, only seats 6 to 8 in the VIP configuration (pictured here).
Sikorsky S-76C -$12.95 million
Although the specs don’t match up to the EC-155, the Sikorsky S-76c tops it’s price tag at $12.95 million. This bad boy normally seats 12 passengers, but you can’t treat VIPs like cattle. So, as you can see, the VIP configuration pictured here seats just 4…in ultimate luxury. With a range of only 473 miles and a top speed of 178 mph.
AugustaWestland AW139 – $14.5-Million
Never judge a book by it’s cover,even with large private leather seats and configured in a VIP arrangement, this chopper can still seat 8 passengers. Costing a hefty sum of $14.5 million the Augusta concentrates on capacity and distance, as she cruises along at 193 mph for at least 573 miles.
Sikorsky S-92 VVIP Configuration – $17-Million
If you thought the other choppers were luxurious “you haven’t seen nothing yet”. This behemoth lined with wood and leather looks pretty damn comfy. With a receipt showing $17 million at checkout has a top speed of 194 mph with a range of 594 miles.
Augusta Westland AW101 VVIP – $21-Million
Taking the cake and probably top choice for anyone with a spare $21 million laying around is the Augusta Westland AW101 VVIP edition. If you weren’t told you would probably assume this cabin is the inside of a private jet. Don’t let it’s size fool you, this Augusta tops out at 192 mph with an impressive range of 863 miles!
