1.) Freedom Ship ( $10 Billion)
Sadly the biggest cruise ship has not become a reality till date. Named Freedom Ship, the $10 billion project will have over 70,000 people on board. The ship is supposed to have its own airport, hospital and casino and will complete a circle of the world in two years.
The project cost has escalated to $10 Billion and is set to rise further if any more delays happen.
2.) Princess Kaguya ($5.4 Billion)
The ship will be 1,640 feet long when build. It will accommodate over 8,400 passengers and will be a floating hotel in the real sense. The ship will have 3 hotels, shopping mall, concert hall and around 50 restaurants. However, given the size of the ship and amount involved, the project is not likely to begin soon.
3.) Carvinal Pinnacle ( $1.5 Billion)
Another ship which never saw the light of the day was Carnival Pinnacle. A $1.5 Billion project, the ship was to be designed to accommodate over 6,000 people. The ship was designed by Maurizio Cergol but could not become a reality.
4.) Oasis 3 ( $1.4 Billion)
Oasis 3 is a continuation of the Oasis series of cruise ships. The ship will accommodate over 6,360 passengers and will have elevating bars and an aqua theatre. The ship is all set to hit the waters by 2016.

The ship will be build by Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. Carnival Vista can accommodate up to 4,000 passengers and the ship is all set to sail by 2016.
6.) Norwegian Bliss ( $900 Million)
The ship will accommodate over 4,200 passengers and will have lounges, bars and some luxury villas. The ship is likely set to be in the waters by 2017.
7.) P&O Britannia ( $820 Million)
The ship is likely to be in the waters by 2015 and will accommodate over 4,372 passengers. The ship will have 4 swimming pools, 13 bars and restaurants which will be spread out evenly through its 15 decks.
8.) Eoseas ( $740 Million)
This ship will be launched by 2016 and will have a carrying capacity of 3,311 passengers. The ship is likely to have propelling system which will reduce its energy consumption drastically.
9.) Titanic 2 ($500 Million)
The replica of Titanic will set sail by 2016 and will be much similar to the Titanic ship which sank in 1912. Billionaire Clive Palmer had announced the project in 2012 and work on the ship is under progress.
10.) Seven Sea Explorer ($450 Million)
The ship will hit the waters by 2016 and will offer intimacy to its guests. This can be understood from the fact that the cruise liner will accommodate only 738 passengers. The ship will sail to Alaska and pass through Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
